Underdog Kids is a heartwarming sports film that follows the journey of Jimmy The Lightning Bolt Lee, a former mixed martial arts champion, as he returns home to teach martial arts to a group of inner-city kids. Jimmy's father figure, Charlie, asks him to train the kids for an upcoming tournament.
The Beverly Hills Scorpions, the reigning junior national champions, are coached by the arrogant and cocky Ted Barret, who happens to be a former rival of Jimmy's. Determined to prove themselves, Jimmy's team, now known as the Underdogs, prepares for the tournament with the help of Big Mama, a local food truck vendor.
As they train, the Underdogs face numerous challenges both on and off the mat. However, through their struggles, they learn valuable lessons from each other that strengthen their bond.
