Uncle Drew is a 2018 comedy film directed by Charles Stone III. The story follows Dax, a man who spends all his money to enter a basketball tournament in Harlem called the Rucker Classic. Unfortunately, he loses his team to his longtime rival and is left desperate to win the cash prize. In his search for a winning team, Dax discovers Uncle Drew, a legendary basketball player played by NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving. Despite his advanced age, Uncle Drew agrees to help Dax and they embark on a road trip to round up Drew's old basketball squad.
