Details
In the 1985 film Svindlande Affärer, Gösta Eriksson, a hairdresser, finds himself in a fraudulent car deal. He purchases a car from used-car dealer Bertil Planåker, only to discover that it is in terrible condition. When Gösta tries to return the car and get his money back, Planåker denies ever having seen him.
Desperate for justice, Gösta enlists the help of his recently-released brother, Rolle. Together, they come up with a plan to form an investment company called Parabola. They approach Planåker, convincing him to invest a significant amount of money into their company. Exploiting Planåker's connections to other shady business associates, Gösta and Rolle manage to secure further investments.
However, the scam quickly becomes more significant and complicated than Gösta and Rolle had anticipated. As the money piles up and their scheme unravels, they find themselves in a dangerous game of deceit and manipulation. With their lives on the line, the brothers must navigate treacherous waters to ensure their survival and come out on top.
