In the documentary Starkast vinner (2025–), filmmaker Edit tackles the silent debate surrounding male body ideals and eating disorders. Following the controversial success of her previous work Smalast vinner, which shed light on the pressures faced by young women on social media, Edit now delves into the world of young men who are constantly bombarded with images of muscular success. The film explores why there is a lack of discussion around male eating disorders and how these body ideals shape young men's perceptions of themselves and each other.
Through interviews with influencer Martin Skålander, hockey player Mattias Höglund, and chef Noa Forsman, all of whom have battled eating disorders, as well as experts and researchers in the field, the documentary seeks to uncover the roots of this issue and what it will take to break the silence.
