In the movie Sex Drive (2008), Ian is a high school senior living in suburban Chicago who is plagued by his lack of sexual experience. Frustrated, he creates an online persona, inflating his resume and connecting with a girl named Ms. Tasty. Promising him a sexual encounter, Ms. Tasty convinces Ian to embark on a road trip to Knoxville.
To make the trip, Ian steals his homophobic and macho brother's GTO and enlists the help of his two best friends, Lance and Felicia. Along the way, Lance, who has learned pick-up artist skills, attracts the attention of every young woman they encounter, including Felicia. Ian, however, secretly harbors romantic feelings for Felicia.
Their journey takes them through a series of misadventures including encounters with a jealous boyfriend, a menacing hitchhiker, jailbirds, carjackers, and even an Amish community. Throughout it all, Ian must navigate these obstacles while also dealing with his own conscience and better judgment.
