In Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Vampire, Scooby and the gang find themselves on vacation in Australia. They visit Vampire Rock, where a famous music contest is taking place. However, they soon discover that the legendary vampire known as the 'Yowie Yahoo' is kidnapping the musical acts, including the popular girl band, the Hex Girls.
To solve the mystery, Scooby and his friends disguise themselves as a heavy-metal band called 'Those Meddling Kids' and join the competition. They must uncover the identity of the vampire's minions and save the kidnapped musicians.
