In the movie RV (2006), Bob Munro is a stressed executive who fears losing his job and lifestyle. His boss, Todd Mallory, hires a new employee, Laird, who threatens Bob's position. Bob had promised his wife, Jamie, and their children, Cassie and Carl, a vacation in Hawaii. However, Todd demands that Bob prepare a presentation and attend a business meeting during the same time.
Desperate to keep his job and please his family, Bob decides to hide the truth from them. He secretly rents an RV and convinces his family to embark on a road trip to the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
