In the crime thriller film Prime Cut (1972), a powerful mob enforcer from Chicago named Nick Devlin finds himself in an unusual situation. He is sent to Kansas City to settle a debt with a cunning and sadistic cattle rancher named Mary Ann. However, as Devlin soon discovers, Mary Ann's illicit activities go far beyond ranching.
Mary Ann not only grinds his enemies into sausage, but he also runs a sinister operation of selling women as sex slaves. Devlin is faced with the daunting task of not only retrieving the money to repay his boss, but also rescuing the innocent victims trapped in Mary Ann's depraved enterprise.
