In the movie Pool (2018), Johan, a 24-year-old man, lives a comfortable life in Nice on the French Riviera, being financially supported by an elderly former actress. He spends his days moving between her house, the beaches, and his friend Kurt's apartment, indulging in a life of leisure and luxury.
However, Johan is haunted by memories of his teenage years, and he begins to feel a growing sense of threat and unease.
