In Persian Lessons, a compelling historical drama, a young Jewish man named Gilles, played by Nahuel Pérez Biscayart, brilliantly disguises himself as an Iranian to escape execution in a concentration camp during World War II. Gilles is captured while trying to flee Europe and is sent to a detention camp where Nazis rule with an iron fist.
