In Pacific Rim: Uprising, the highly anticipated sequel to the original hit film, Jake Pentecost, son of the heroic Stacker Pentecost, takes center stage as he joins forces with his sister-figure Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots in an epic battle against a new Kaiju threat.
Set several years after the events of the first film, the world is still recovering from the devastating war fought against the massive monsters known as Kaijus. Jake, a once-promising Jaeger pilot who abandoned his training, finds himself drawn back into the fight when he crosses paths with a talented young hacker named Amara, who has built her own makeshift Jaeger. Realizing the dire need for skilled pilots, Jake and Mako assemble a team and embark on a mission to save humanity from impending doom.
As they face off against the relentless Kaijus, Jake and his team must also tackle internal conflicts and rivalries within their own ranks, particularly with the brash and competitive Lambert. Together, they must learn to work as a unit and control their powerful robotic warriors to successfully combat the terrifying new threat. With intense action sequences and pulse-pounding battles, Pacific Rim: Uprising is an adrenaline-fueled adventure that showcases the power of teamwork and determination in the face of unimaginable danger.
