In the 2015 movie Mojin - The Lost Legend, three legendary tomb raiders, Hu Bayi, Wang Kaixuan, and Shirley Yang, have retired and settled in New York City. While Bayi and Shirley are in a romantic relationship, Kaixuan believes that their skills as Mojin, or grave robbers, should be put to better use.
However, their peaceful new lives are disrupted when they are drawn back to China for a mission in Inner Mongolia. They are tasked with investigating the mysterious death of Ding Sitian, who was not only their first love but also a member of their original tomb raiding team in 1969.
