Details
In the action-packed film Kiss of the Dragon (2001), Liu Jian, a skilled police officer from China, travels to Paris to assist the local vice squad in capturing a dangerous Chinese drug lord and his mysterious French connection. Unbeknownst to Liu, the French connection is actually Richard, the head of the vice squad, who plans to eliminate the drug lord and frame Liu for the crime.
When a bullet narrowly misses him, Liu manages to escape with valuable evidence in the form of a tape, revealing the truth about the situation. Desperate for help, Liu reaches out to Jessica, an American prostitute working for Richard. Jessica, trapped in a bleak cycle of abuse, faces her own struggles, including the fact that Richard has placed her daughter in an orphanage to control her silence.
As Liu and Jessica join forces, they must navigate the dangerous underworld, protect Jessica and rescue her daughter from Richard's clutches. Their mission becomes a race against time, as they strive to expose Richard's villainous activities and bring him to justice.
