Details
Ice Princess (2005) tells the story of Casey Carlyle, a high-school bookworm with dreams of becoming a championship figure skater. However, her strong-willed mother has her on the fast track to Harvard, leaving Casey torn between her passion and her mother's expectations. Casey idolizes three elite skating prodigies, Nikki, Tiffany, and Gen, who are ruthlessly competing on the US National circuit.
When Casey gets the chance to train with Gen and her coach, who also happens to be Gen's mother, a disgraced former skating champion, she must make a difficult decision that challenges her relationship with her own mother.
