Hwayi: A Monster Boy is a gripping crime thriller set in a farm village. The story revolves around Hwayi, a young boy who has been raised by a group of five notorious criminals. The group receives a commission to murder a man named Lim and his wife, a task that seems suspicious to some of the members. However, Suk-tae, one of the fathers, insists on carrying out the job and brings Hwayi along.
