In Home Alone 3 (1997), a group of high-tech industrial spies plans to steal a top-secret microchip. To avoid detection, they hide the microchip inside a remote-control toy car. Unfortunately for them, a mix-up at the airport leads to the toy car ending up in the possession of an unsuspecting 8-year-old boy named Alex.
The spies, Beaupre, Alice, Jernigan, and Unger, realize their mistake and go on a mission to retrieve the toy car before their angry clients find out. In order to accomplish this, they decide to burglarize every house on Alex's street, hoping to find the chip.
However, Alex is not your average 8-year-old. He quickly realizes that he is being targeted and decides to take matters into his own hands. Armed with a clever wit and a knack for booby traps, Alex sets up an intricate scheme to outsmart the spies and protect his home.
