Details
Gorko! (2013) is a comedic Russian film that centers around the progressive and talented couple, Natasha and Roma, who dream of having a European wedding by the sea. However, their plans are derailed when Natasha's stepfather, a rough official of the city administration, decides to take matters into his own hands.
He sees the wedding as a way to further his own career and sets out to arrange every aspect of the celebration to his liking. This includes choosing the venue, a local restaurant called Golden, and meticulously planning all the traditional rituals associated with weddings.
Not wanting to give in to his conservative relatives' demands, Natasha and Roma decide to secretly elope and have their dream wedding in another location. But, as luck would have it, both celebrations accidentally clash and the pair find themselves in a challenging situation.
