Details
Erased (2012) follows the story of Ben Logan, an expatriate and secret agent who, after moving to Antwerp with his daughter Amy, uncovers a sinister plot within the technology corporation he works for. A broken security code from a device leads Ben to discover that the patent is unrecorded, prompting him to raise his concerns with his boss, Derek Kohler. However, when Ben and Amy return to his office, they find it completely empty, along with all records of his communication and finances.
Unexpectedly, Ben and Amy are abducted by a coworker at a bank, forcing Ben to defend himself by killing the assailant. This violent encounter ultimately leads Ben to discover a key that unlocks a locker at the Central Station, uncovering photos of himself, Amy, and his coworkers. As Ben delves deeper into the mystery, he realizes that all of his fellow workers are dead, except for Derek Kohler.
With no support from the Agency and lacking reliable contacts, Ben soon uncovers a vast conspiracy involving illegal arms sales to Africa, implicating not only Halgate Group but also rogue CIA agents. As Ben races against time to expose the truth and protect himself and Amy, he finds himself battling not only the powerful forces behind the conspiracy but also his own damaged reputation.
