In Brother Bear 2 / Björnbröder 2, Kenai and Koda, a bear and a young bear cub, believe that they don't need anyone else in their lives except each other. However, Kenai starts having dreams about Nita, a girl he met and saved when he was younger. He gave her an amulet and promised to be friends forever before she left for her home, never to be seen again.
Now, Nita is all grown up and preparing for her wedding. However, the ancestors are upset because Nita is still tied to Kenai. In order for Nita to break the bond and have a happy marriage, she must journey to the place where Kenai gave her the amulet and burn it together.
Kenai, Nita, and Koda embark on a journey together to fulfill this task. However, Koda is worried that Kenai might leave him behind for Nita. As they make their way to the destination, the group faces various challenges and obstacles.
