Follows the New York City Police Department's (NYPD) Special Victims Unit (SVU), a specially trained squad of detectives who investigates sex crimes including rape, child sexual abuse, human trafficking and domestic violence.

Follows the lives of the personnel of the fictional 21st District, which houses both uniformed officers and the department's elite Intelligence Unit as they fight every day to keep the city of Chicago, Illinois safe.

Follows Morgan, a single mom of three kids and how thanks to her exceptional mind, she is able to help to solve a crime as she rearranges evidence during her shift as a cleaner for the police department.
