Details
Waist Deep (2006) is an intense action film set in South Los Angeles. The story follows O2, a parolee and devoted father, who makes a promise to his son Junior to always come back for him. However, things take a sinister turn when O2's car is hijacked, and Junior is kidnapped. With no leads, O2 enlists the help of street vendor Coco to track down his stolen vehicle.
Meanwhile, O2's drug-addicted brother, Lucky, discovers that the ruthless leader of the Outlaw Syndicate, Meat, has taken Junior hostage. Meat demands a hefty ransom of $100,000, believing O2 possesses the money from a past heist. Desperate to save his son, O2 hatches a plan with Coco to pit the pimp P-Money against Meat and steal their money.
As the tension escalates, O2 and Coco find themselves caught in a dangerous web of deception and violence. They must navigate the treacherous underworld of South Los Angeles and outmaneuver their adversaries to rescue Junior.
